Drip marketing is a strategy employed by many direct marketers where a constant flow of marketing material is sent to customers over a period of time. Drip marketing endeavors to create sales through long-term repeated exposure to its recipients of the goods and services that are advertised. A webhook in web development is a method of augmenting or altering the behavior of a web page or web application with custom callbacks. These callbacks may be maintained, modified, and managed by third-party users and developers who may not necessarily be affiliated with the originating website or application. Text message automation, simply put, is the automatic sending or triggering of text messages to individuals or groups of people with little or no manual intervention. Marketing automation has become increasingly popular with brands as it allows them to save time by pre-scheduling text messages to be sent in the future.
